sir , myself and my wife built an house in her name .i even took loan in her name and i used my savings also . my wife died in accident i was left with two boys .I brought my father in law and mother in law to take care of my boys. then i got married again . now my FIL took advantage and took hold of my boys and giving troubles to me. Now i wanted to develop my property building an other floor on top of that house . My FIL went to police station and complained against me. Inspector called me and said i have no rights on that house as i got married .only my sons have full rights and he he even said now it belongs to my sons only above to that he threatened me that he would file case in my name if any scenes created. is any law prevent me from constructing in that site. till now i have not taken my second wife to that home . will any law prevent her if i take her to that home.

A.Hi,
Your father in law has no rights to the property, you can do with it as you wish. If you want to construct something, you will need the necessary clearances.
File a suit for declaration of title.

A.Hi,
You are still the co-owner of the property. File a suit for declaration of title in Court.
No law will prevent you from construction, you will, however, need the necessary clearances.
