I have a vehicle I bought 3 years ago. I did not change the owner then. Now I was to sell the vehicle but I am not able to reach out to the first owner of the vehicle. What should be the procedure?

A.Hai,
When a vehicle is sold, the name of the purchaser is noted as the registered owner in place of the previous registered owner and the process is known as the transfer of ownership. As per the Motor Vehicles Act 1988, it is mandatory to obtain a NOC from the initial RTO of vehicle registration. If you find this helpful, please rate us.
