A.Hello,
You are having every right to persue your career in your own way. If your father as stated by you not allowing you for the same then you can report this matter to police and can also move to the court by filing proper application under Domestic Violence Act.

A.Hai,
You can file a case against your father but keep in mind that its a very week ground to held someone liable in a civil suit. Moreover, you may get a pecuniary compensation for the same but the amount would be not much. So please consult a lawyer before filing the suit. If you find this helpful, please rate us.

A.Hai,
If you are a female, then you can approach the Women protection or safety Cell and file your complaint. They will do the needful. You can file a case u/s 498-A IPC and or file an application u/s 12 of the Domestic Violence Act and claim protection from the harassment and also monetary compensation for the mental harassment.
If you are a male, you can file a Police Complaint who will warn your family. If you find this helpful, please rate us.
