You may not be able to continue with your case after you have obtained divorce and remarried because once a couple have separated, the provisions under the Domestic Violence Act cannot be invoked.

After the divorce takes place between a couple, the provisions of the Domestic Violence Act cannot be invoked in the court of law. Hence, you may not be able continue with your case once you have obtained divorce and remarried.
