Loan repayment

My dad took a loan pledging the vehicle documents. My dad is no more and vehicle was taken away by the recovery agency without our consent.
Now the money lenders are saying they have not taken away the vehicle, and we should pay back the loan amount.
What actions can we take against them?

A.Report the matter to police of dacaity etc. Your liability is limited to the value of assets if inherited from your father.

A.You can lodge police complaint against the vehicle being taken away without consent by the recovery agents and give legal notice to Bank.

A.Hi,
File a complaint with the police for fraud and cheating under Sections 415 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code.
You can also report the vehicle as stolen.
