Purchase of a SRA flat in khar west

I have an offer from a seller, wanting to sell a 1bhk flat in a SRA building in Khar west and this structure will complete 10years in 2023. Hence presently it cannot be legally owned. I liked the place but a little reluctant to go for it, since it cannot be transferred on my name till it completes 10years. Can you advice if it is okay I take it now on the basis of the power of attorney and later post 2years it would legally transferred on my name with out any hassle.

A.Sale and purchase of property through General Power of Attorney does not hold any legal validity.

A.Hi,
It is illegal to buy and sell property through GPA. Hence, it is advised you go for a registered sale deed for the purchase of property.

A.Hi,
Sale and purchase of property through General Power of Attorney does not hold any legal validity. Hence, it is suggested you should not go for it unless the ownership is transferred to your name through a registered sale deed.
