I live in a village. I want to build a boundary wall around my home plot. My neighbour dos not agree. In such a situation I am to construct he boundary wall byself. Now, he says me to leave 6 inches out of the wall. But I am in great problem as I am unknown to the legal rule of leaving how much land out of boundary wall. How much land do I need to leave out of boundary wall?

A.Apply to panchayat and obtain sanction for carrying on construction on your plot. Panchayat will specify the area to be left from the boundary wall.

A.In my knowledge you can build boundry wall with your premises but never cross the boundary line. It's depend upon municipal rules in my knowledge there is no such municipal rules regarding built boundary line between two private property other than public property for road.

A.Hai,
Check the space left by your neighbours and keep sane amount of space from Boundary. You can send letter to panchayat to specify in writing amount of space to be left from Boundary while constructing house. If panchayat has not given in writing that access from your property is to be given you are not bound to do so . If subsequently they insist draw attention to alternate road available which has been wrongly blocked by neighbour. If you fidn this helpful, please rate us

A.Hai,
You apply to panchayat and obtain sanction for carrying on construction on your plot. Panchayat will specify area to be left from the boundary wall. If there is no other access to neighbor's plots panchayat can call upon you to permit the right of way for the local villagers from a portion of your land. If you find this helpful, please rate us.
