My wife went to her parents home after marriage and then she has lied about me now i want divorce. I have not taken any dowry also during marriage i have transferred them 50k from my bank account for purchase of my wifes cloths. Can they file false dowry case

A.Yes, then can file a case, but you can apply for anticipatory bail and have the case quashed under Section 482 CrPC.

A.If she file any false case then you shall have every opportunity to defend the case. Police in general refer such disputes to mediation to explore chances of settlement. Courts are also lenient in such matrimonial cases. Take help of a competent lawyer.

A.Hi,
You should file a petition for restitution of conjugal rights, try to resolve your differences and then file for a mutual consent divorce.
If you suspect they will file a case against you, you can apply for anticipatory bail at the Sessions or High Court.

A.Hi,
Yes, then can file a case, but you can apply for anticipatory bail and have the case quashed under Section 482 CrPC. Your wife and her parents can be punished under Section 209 IPC for making false claims.
However, it is better to resolve this matter non-judicially, a mutual consent divorce is the best option.

A.They can file case but it can be quash in High Court. File Restitution of Conjugal Rights petition and send money order to her for maintanence. Even though if you don't want reunion you can file Restitution of Conjugal Rights because it will help you.
