(1) I file rti offline to an government office but they transferred it to other department to give information..i am sure and they also know that information can only be given by that government office but..which law define punishment for this.
(2) i sent another rti to a office but except this office there is another office beside it which after accepting my rti does not send to correct office and sent it to wrong one.
Kindly guide me and give a strong suggestion.

A.Hi,
If the departments are transferring your application for nefarious gains, it is advisable for you to approach the court against the same. You can a write of mandamus in the HC to make the court order them to provide you with the necessary information.

A.Hi,
The Information Commission can impose a penalty of Rs 250 per day. The total penalty cannot exceed Rs 25,000. Section 20(1) of the Central Act states that "Public Information Officers" can be penalised.
In case you find that they are dodging your application under RTI, you can file a suit for the same.
