Road traffic accident

I was involved in a road accident in India, 2 bikes hit each other. I was seating on the back seat of 1st bike. I got a severe mouth/head injury. My bikes driver is in ICU still serious and another driver died. Can the law and the deceased family members can punish me in any way i.e - compensation for the deceased family or jail, as I was not driving but drunk? (Bangalore, Karnataka)
