Hi sir,
I have brought hp laptop on Oct 2019 from authorised center with 1 year company warranty and I bought 2 year additional warranty by paying some money to the company. On March 2021 the laptop hinges was damages and because of that I was unable to use the laptop there was not any single external damage from my side. I took the laptop to the hp service center they checked it and told me that it is a internal damage where we have to change hinges and screen back cover and it will be done under warranty. The service center representative lodged my case in hp and gave me the service report slip where it is clearly mentioned by the service center that it is internal damage and the parts which are to be replaced are hinges and screen back cover. He told that it will take 2 days to execute the case in hp and after again 2 days they will send the parts to our service center where you have to come with the laptop for parts replacement and repair. But in next day service center representative call me and says that hp has rejected your case because it is external and physical damage but I can say that it is internal damage and it should be claim in warranty and asked him now what next i have to do if I want the claim so he told me that take to hp customer care center I called them and I was not satisfied with the complaint. So I mailed to the hp service head regarding my issue same day when I received the call from service center where in that mail I have explained all things to them. They called means also mailed me to send the service report slip and damage part picture, I send them on the same day. And told me that we will investigate with the team and give you reply. But I didn't received any mail for 2 days so I gave them reminder for my case but after 6 days I got the mail from service head that it is external damage and it will not be claimed in warranty and told me that you have to pay for the parts if you want to repair then we will send you quotation for the same. So I lodged complaint in consumer forum via there online portal regarding my issue because it was not the physical damage and also the service center representative told it is internal damage also I have the written copy and mail copy of they where it is clearly mentioned that it is internal damage. After login complaint I received the dock number from them and they have send this request to hp crt team to look in this matter after that I got a call from hp crt team after lodging complaining in consumer forum. I also explained all the mattar to him and he noted all that and after that he told me to share the service report slip and invoice so that I can talk with the concern team and will get back in next 24-48hrs he told. After our call I shared all the necessary documents via email. So now I am waiting for there mail.
So in this case I was harassed for getting the repair to be done since it was internal damage and also both the party of same company are giving two different conclusion that it is internal damage as per hp authorised service centre and external damage by hp service head team.
Because of this I was suffering from mental health issues whether my laptop is going to get repaired or not because it was under warranty.
Also there was loss of my education during this period because I was not able to attend the online college lectures and also I was working as a part time via online because of damaged laptop I was not able to get my work and task done.
There was many other problems which I have faced during this phase still I am facing the problem because my laptop still not working.
So sir can I ask for the compensation to the company because of happening academic loss.
Please give me suggestions what should I do because I have explained all the scenario to you.

A.Hi, send legal notice to him, You can file a suit in the consumer court and can claim damages and compensation.
