My husband suddenly abandoned my minor son and me. Send a letter saying he wants a divorce. He left to another state and 3 months no divorce papers. Should we visit him there as no phone call etc.. thanks.

A.Please file a case in the police for 498A of IPC immediately. A married man can not escape from his responsibility of maintenance of his wife and son. You may also call Mahila police station if any way you are not able to go to police station.

First you should file a case under section 09 of H.M.Act against him calling to join conjugal company with you.

A.First you should file a case under section 9 of HMA against him calling to join conjugal company with you.
And yes you should also visit to him

Risks like personal safety or being slapped with some court notices -its only been 3 months since his abandonment. PLEASE let me know.

There is no risks at all. He is your husband. If he commits assault on you than approach the concerned police immediately.

He says he no longer wants divorce. Just to continue living separate. And if I was to divorce go to court? But I don't. Should I take my son and go visit his new residence? Legally still his wife.
