do home based business require Noc from fire department. I would like to start business of cashew nuts and dry fruits , wholesale and retail from my house. no customer would visit my place as I will take orders via mobile phone and e commerce sites like Amazon, Facebook etc

A.Dear Sir,
You are using a word wholesale business so it may involve large bulk material transportations so you have to take license. Small business do not require such license.

If the business is small then it may not be required but as you are saying it is a whole sale business then the quantity will be bulk so it may require.

A.absolutely not for retail until and unless you become some big seller selling truckloads.
but you are saying wholesale also which might require huge quantities and in that case you do require it.
