The drainage problem

The drainage of my colony flow above my house (my house is in lower area)and their sewage pipe also goes in that drainage.
The water from sewage as well as from the drainage comes into my house .
I reported the problem to all those whose sewage pipe is there to fox their pipes but non consider that as serious problem but my family is facing the major problem of that water please help me what to do?

A.Dear Sir,
You can file a writ petition in high Court which will direct the authorities to consider and work on the issues. You can also File a case considering Article 21 which is Right to life which also involve right to live in healthy environment.

You can file a case under Article 21 which also involve right to live in a healthy environment. You can issue a legal notice with the help of your advocate to do their job and listen to your grievance. Still if the issue not resolve you can file a writ petition at high Court and can also claim damages.

A.thats the exact reason why people dont buy house in lower area.
your problem is severe because its difficult to live like this.
the sewage pipes seems to be private.
people dont care until it affects them.
you can issue legal notice to them.
you can get court order for restrain.

A.The most expeditious remedy will be to file a writ before the Hon'ble high court if the drainage is managed or owned by the local body. but before that you must make sure you have availed all resources of local grievance redressal. Meet a lawyer who practices in high court for more detailed course of action.
If it is case of private drain or pipe then you can file a suit for permanent injunction as well claim damages if you can make out a good case.
