I had dues on myvcredit card which I had settlement with bank and paid the dues. After 6 month i mistakenly transferred amount on my card and now the bank is not refusing to refund and is saying they have adjusted against credit status clearance, since there was no dues how can they not retuen back the money
A.Send them a legal notice asking the to return the amount. If they don't then you can file a case in consumer forum. Or you can also initiate an ODR- Online Dispute Resolution on Vidhi Samaadhaan through VCDR.

A.Hi,
You may consider sending the bank a legal notice since they have no legal basis for credit adjustment against dues already cleared. Further, you can also file a complaint with the Banking Ombudsman of your region. Another recourse might be to file a police complaint for the offence of criminal breach of trust and cheating under S.406 and S.420 IPC respectively.

A.Hi,
Since you have already paid your dues, there is no legal basis for the bank to adjust the credit status. You can file a complaint with the Banking Ombudsman of your region which is accessible through the RBI website. You may also consider lodging a complaint u/S 406 & 420 for the offences of criminal breach of trust and cheating.
