Doubts on filing for a contested divorce Doubts on filing for a contested divorce

If the person wants to file for contested divorce and does not have any documents such as a marriage certificate or marriage pictures, spouse address proof. All the documents are hidden by the spouse such as mark sheets, government IDs, and even took away a big amount of money. Then how he/she can still apply for a contested divorce. The person needs divorce on the ground of cruelty.

A.As such there is no such called "Contested divorce" case in law. You can merely file divorce case and it is upon your wife to oppose/contest or not. Address of wife is required to file divorce case.
