Noisy Neighbours Faridabad
There are tenants living in my adjacent house who make significant noises of using kitchen (mortar & pestle, throwing away utensils, beating the walls, loud arguing at night, shutting iron doors loudly) every night even till 12/12.30 AM. We have politely asked them many times and even asked them not to make noise at least beyond 10 PM. Further, when they did not adhere to our kind requests several times, we even contacted the owner of the house to request their tenants to not make the noise between 10 PM-6 AM. Yet, there is no relief.
Further, now the situation is that the tenants have started deliberately harassing us by making more noise, parking their car in the middle of the lane. We are living in this neighbourhood for more than 25 years now, and this is the first time we have faced such an issue.
Pls suggest some action plan for us. We are very distressed. Even work from home is becoming a challenge because of their nose.

It seems that your neighbors doing 'harassment through nuisance'. This type of nuisance is defined in Section 268 of IPC, which says "A person is guilty of a public nuisance who does any act or is guilty of an illegal omission which causes any common injury, danger or annoyance to the public or to the people in general who dwell or occupy property in the vicinity, or which must necessarily cause injury, obstruction, danger or annoyance to persons who may have occasion to use any public right. A common nuisance is not excused on the ground that it causes some convenience or advantage."
You can call the police by just dialing 100 no. and when they will reach the spot you should be having sufficient proof to prove the harassment by neighbors.
or
you can also file an application under Section 268 of IPC in the court of magistrate.
Thanks with best regards
