Trustee replace on death Trustee replace on death

Dear Sir,
A few days ago treasurer of our charitable has passed away. At the same, we held a meeting with trust members to replace a new trustee. Do we need to inform this same with the sub-register office where the trust has registered? or otherwise we pass a trust board resolution about the same is sufficient?

A.Hi,
The members of society can elect the new treasurer as per S. 6(1)(g) of the Incorporated Societies Act and you would also need to inform the same at the sub-registrar's office.
