Finding my father Finding my father

My father was a govt servant in gujarat, my mother and Father lived separately we visited them once a year and I lived with my mom in maharashtra, after his retirement in 2010 my father sold the house where my mother and I lived and left without meeting us and because he was retired he also left his govt quarters.
he has not told anyone were he went, we have searched for him everywhere but couldn't find any trail through office or our relatives.
Few months ago we made a missing police complaint in the city he lived in gujarat but they too are unable to find him.
Each person has to pay property tax and we have his pan card number so is it possible for wife or daughter to know through RTI or any other way about the properties he pays tax ? because that way we can find his house.

A.Hi,
A presumption can be raised that a person who is missing for over 7 years is dead. You have limited options. You have already made a police complaint, you can try private detectives as well, they might be able to help.

A.Hi,
You father is missing since 2010. A person who is missing since 7 years or more is presumed to be dead under the law. You have the option to approach private detectives, but legally it is presumed that he is dead.
