A.You can not get a tenant arrested for not clearing his dues. What you can do is to get him evicted by filing a case of eviction in the court of law. Please file a case for eviction

A.Dear Sir,

In case the tenant refuses to pay his dues then you should do the following:-

1) Send a Legal Notice to terminate the rent agreement and demanding the tenant to pay your dues along with interest and to vacate the premises.

2) If he fails to pay the rent despite Legal Notice, then file a Suit for recovery of rent and eviction of tenant from the property. You can request the court to direct the tenant to pay your dues along with interest.

It does not matter of the tenant acts like he doesn’t have money. The court will pass a decree and then attach his assets including bank accounts if any.

A.Hi,
You will have to send a legal notice and then approach the rent control authority for remedy. You can also sue the occupant for the money owed to you in a civil court but you cannot have him prosecuted or arrested unless some criminal charges are also imposed on him.
