Can computer logs in CCTNs be provided upon request under the Right to Information Act? denaied computer logs which section? any related jugements?

A.CCTNS logs does not come under RTI being investigative in nature.

You can request CCTNs under RTI. However, if you are rejected you can appeal but please note that if such data already exists in the public domain then you will not receive a reply.

A.Hi,
You can request the computer logs in CCTNs be provided through RTI. You can wait and see whether your request is accepted or rejected. If rejected, you can appeal with appellate authority. I think it would be provided,

A.As far as my understanding goes those entries can not be brought under the purview of the RTI Act and hence if you need them then you will have to get a court order for the same then you may get the CCTNS logs.
