Harassment and torture by neighbors

I am leaving alone and I am a working girl. I love dogs and cats sonic feed them and treating them as much as possible. I am staying at chawl system so my neighbors hate it they can't tolerate dogs and cats even in front of society gate. They said me very bad word and continues to torture me by tonting and making fun of me also they Called me characterless and bhikari so I am going through depression bcoz of their cheap Launguage and rude behavior no going to help me or support me. I request you to play suggest me how can I fight with them and under which section I can file complaint against them?

You can file FIR on them.
but you also call them names and bhikari for not able to feed dogs so you give/feed them some dogs biscuits.

You will have to bear with it since the police will also not be able to do anything here. Try to talk with the other residents and amicably solve the matter. Sometimes when you are living in a society you will have to incorporate the wishes and demands of other residents as well.

You can approach the police for continued harassment. Additionally, you should also comply with the demand of other residents. If they do not like stray cats and dogs in the premises try to tend to them outside the premises.

You may either change your residence or increase your immunity to bear their torture.
