In 1995 A sale deed was executed on the behalf of Holder of general power of attorney but sale deed did not get registered due to difficiency of stamp and sale deed was impounded by sub registrar and sent it to collector of revenue department for further proceedings. In meantime principal of power of attorney cancelled the power of attorney in 1998. The order was passed by collector to pay stamp duty for registration. Now registration of sale deed is possible because power of attorney has been cancelled?

A.principal (POA executor) instead of agent (POA holder) have to register now.

A.Hi,
You should ask the Registrar for permission and amend the sale deed and instead of the PoA holder, the Principal itself can move forward with the formalities. Collect all relevant documents and approach him. You might have to pay a fine.

A.Hi,
Gather all necessary documents related to land, the unregistered Sale deed and PoA papers also and then approach the Registrar for amending the sale deed.

A.See you will have to amend the sale deed now as it must be mentioned over there the executor would be the PoA holder now it would be Principal. So, seek the permission of the Registrar and amend the sale deed and present again for registration. What the revenue need is the stamp duty and that to they will get with penalty so, they should do it happily. If they don't do it then they should give a reason for doing. When you have a reason remove that reason or if the reason is not good then move the court.
