What is the law of Live in Relation or ParoKia gor married man and woman?
Is it treated as criminal act?
What action can be taken against them by their partners or law?
How long they need to stay separated from their partners before living together?

A.Hi,
Live-in-relationship is not considered a criminal act even if the couple are married to different partners at the time they are living together. Your respective spouses can file for a contested divorce but you are not criminally liable. As a result there is no specific time period for you to be separated from your spouse before living together. There is no set period of time during which you must wait to live together. Only for marriage does such a time limit exist.

A.Hi,
In S. Khushboo v. Kanniammal (2010) 5SCC 600, the Supreme Court declared that live-in partnerships are allowed and that the act of two adults living together is not illegal or unlawful. As a result, though this will not be deemed criminal conduct, your respective spouses may divorce you on grounds of adultery. In addition, the spouse accusing the other of adultery must prove it, which will be easier to do if you live together. You can begin living together as soon as you file for divorce or separate from your spouse with the purpose of divorcing them.

A.Dear Sir
They cannot leave together and police can book a criminal case if anybody lodge complaint. Live in relationship is recognized only for unmarried people and it is not for married people.

A.Legally living in love in relationship without doing marriage by a non divorced man with a non divorced woman is not criminally punishable offence since adultery has been decriminalised by Supreme Court vide Judgement dated 29 Sep 2018 but adultery still forms a strong ground of divorce and may affect your divorce matter and entire credibility and hence not advisable. Better obtain divorce from your respective spouse's by convincing them for mutual consent divorce and after obtaining divorce start living together, however even after obtaining divorce you will require to wait for 90 days time period of appeal in case you plan to marry. Thank you.
