I was offered a charge free credit card from SBI, post getting card Statement came to know that that is chargeable. I want to know whether there is any legal action can be taken who are making false commitment to sell their services.

A.They will give you points every year for paying annual fees which is almost equal to annual fees.
but if you still not happy then stop using the card.
Complain to bank .
File a complaint in Banking Ombudsman (It is useless in my lot of experiences)

The options at your disposal are:
1. Contact the bank manager of the branch and ask for clarifications.
2. File a complaint with the Banking Ombudsman of your region and state the issue about hidden charges.
3. You may also consider filing a suit before the consumer court, if matter escalate.

A.Hi,
You may consider sending a legal notice to the Bank Manager of the branch stating that you have charged without any basis. Alternatively, before you file a suit before the consumer court, register a complaint with the Banking Ombudsman of your region and highlight your grievances.

A.See there are always some hidden charged which the credit card do not disclose initially that you will come to know later and then you will not have any other way to contact as the sales guy will be off the hook now and you will keep ringing to the customer care. This is a never ending process and I as an ex banker have seen many people suffer and getting frustrated out f this.
Now the options left to you are to live with this and go on or stop using the card or send them a legal notice or if you want to fight a battle with them then you can file a consumer case against them.
There one more thing you can try. You can initiate ODR -Online Dispute Resolution process on Vidhi Samaadhaan through this link https://www.vidhikarya.com/online-dispute-resolution and try to get it resolved.
