Mobile Number removed from Savings Account Mobile Number removed from Savings Account

Sir
I was working in a PSU Bank and I was supposed to get arrear salary on 01.06.2021.
However, on the very same day the bank has removed my mobile number from my salary account as a result of which I am unable to withdraw money.
I would like to know can this be an incident where can I proceed against the bank U/s 116,119,120B,166,167,418 rw 34 IPC. I just deeply searched online. I am not a lawyer.
Kindly advice.
Thank You

A.Hi,
Ideally you should first enquire with the bank whether:
a. Your arears and dues were paid or not
b. The reason behind delisting of the Mobile Number from the Account.
Approach the grievance redressal committee of the bank first, they will surely sort out the issue. If this doesn't yield desired result then you may consider proceeding against the bank legally.

A.Hi,
You can first try asking the Grievance Redressal Body as to why the Mobile Number was removed from the account. You can also enquire as to your outstanding arears were cleared or not. If it is already cleared, then you can simply ask them to transfer the money to the other account. Please do the complete enquiry first before jumping to conclusion. If they do not honor your request, then you can send them legal notice.

A.Sir,
There can not be a coincidence that they have removed your mobile no. a particular date. Was there any case or any amount due pending on you to be paid to the bank? Or is there any vigilance file or inquiry file still open against you in the bank? Why the bank has done this way with you is the question that is ringing in my mind. If there are no reason then you can simply ask the bank to undo the trouble by removing the issue otherwise you have all the option under the legal umbrella to go ahead with.
