I WENT to an electronics shop for repairing my laptop but the shopkeeper doesnt know how to fix the problem but said us that he can repair it . he replaced our battery saying it original which cost 2550 but it was not original . At his shop he told that the problem was solved but it didnt so next day we realized that it was not the battery problem we went to him and told him that you cheated me our battery was good . he is not taking his battery and didnt refunding my money. i had repaired my laptop from another store now at 700 only he told us that your charge wasnt good .so know i want to take a legal action on the shopkeeper who cheated

If he settles it then fine.
If not, approach the appropriate consumer forum and fight it out.
Thanks.
If you ready to spend more amount then approach consumer Court.
Before going to the consumer court, you should try sending a legal notice to the shopkeeper first. In the event that he still does not pay, you can move the court for a deficiency in services offered.

You can try sending a legal notice to the shopkeeper first. If he doesn't refund your money then consider filing a suit before the consumer forum against him for the recovery of money.
