Panchayat threating to give our pathway for drainage Panchayat threating to give our pathway for drainage

My house is situated at the dead end of road and adjecent to a high school (back side of high school). And the cc road is only till the start of my house and remaining road is ours(this is our road to reach cc road, in straight line with cc road). Other end of cc road is the main road. Recently panchayat constructed drainage from cc road end to main road. But the main road is little up, so water in drainage is not going, so people reached out to panchayat. Due to the pressure, panchayat is now tring to send drain water back to our own road and threatening us to give our road for drainage. There is a little place (pathway to reach my brothers house, back side of my house) between my house and high school, so panchayat is trying to send the drain water from cc road to our road and then to between by house and high school.

Panchayat sent a notice to prove that it is your land, but this land came from our ancestors, so we dont have proper documents.

Please suggest how to proceed.

A.Aap gram panchayat ko advocate dwara legal notice send kare. Or superior authority se contact kare. Yadi aap ko koi help nhi milti or aap ki problems ka solution nhi nikalta. Tab aap court me suit filed kar sakte hai.

A.Hi,
If the panchayat is attempting to trespass over your property then you may serve them a legal notice first. Consecutively, you can also lodge a query with the RI's office regarding the breach of boundaries over your property.
If you find my answer helpful then kindly rate me.

A.Hi,
You can register a complaint with the revenue inspector's office of your jurisdiction. Highlight your grievance that the Panchayat is trying to usurp your land. If they have already done so then you file a suit for trespass in the civil judge's court.
If you find my answer helpful then kindly rate me.

A.Since the land came from you ancestors and is in possession hence that should be enough for the Panchayat to understand. For many lands in villages we don't have papers but traditionally on account of our possession status and history of tilling we showcase that. Also, have you been paying the rent/tax for that piece of land? If yes then you can show that.
