Encroachment in cooperative society in East Delhi
2 years ago
What is the right course of action if a resident + treasurer of a cooperative society encroaches the common area as well as area of another resident of the society. No action is being taken on written complaint in society office. I have filed complaint on DDA mobile app also but it's getting closed without any action.

A.Hi,
You can contact DDA authorities in person after ascertaining that the treasurer of the society has contravened any bye-laws. Accordingly, you can contact the local architect and check whether it can be regularised.
If you find my answer helpful then kindly rate me.

A.File a case against the resident and the treasurer for causing nuisance to the other residents by encroaching the common areas but before that send them a legal notice to mend their ways.
