A.If it was a self acquired property of your father then he is done is rightly and you can not challenge it. But if it was ancestral property then the sale is illegal and you can challenge the sale for your and your brother's portion.

Your father has right to sell property which is self acquired with the consent of other legal heir. The consent is require while selling the ancestral property.

A.If it is the self acquired property of your father,then he can sale it as per his choice and his legal heirs have no right to prevent him from doing so.
If that land property remained unpartitioned for last four generations of your father,then that property being the ancestral property cannot be transferred by your father depriving his legal heirs.

A.Why your father requires your permission or your brother's permission for making sale? Father is not bound to obtain any permission from anybody before making sale of his property.

A.Yadi jamin aap ke naam hai tab aap ke father aap ka ya aapke bhai ka part nhi sale kar sakte hai. Chunki aap ke father apne part tak sale kar sakte hhai.Yadi aisa koi sale deed kiya jaata hai to vah law ki eyes me void hai or criminal offence bhi hai.
