MY father & mother have jointly registered flat in kalwa, father died in December 2017, and no nomination is done. we are two legal heirs myself and brother. now we want to cancel fathers name and make mother 100% charge of the flat how to go about. Should we just inform the society and changes will be done on share certificate. Please advice

A.You and your brother have to execute a relinquishment deed in your mothers favour and get it registered. On the basis of that your mother would become sole owner of that Flat

A.Both you and your brother have to execute a Release Deed or Settlement deed for your respective shares in the said property in favour of your mother.
