I bought an Acer Swift-3 laptop from an e-commerce website and the warranty will expire in July 2021. I log a complaint to Acer regarding the display problem, a serviceman comes and checks the display, says that it requires parts change so he put the request to Acer for the spares. It's been nearly 45 days, Acer team keeps saying "Please allow us some time we shall resolve the issue with the best of our abilities".

A.Dear Sir
They are trying to see that warranty period is expired. Get issue a legal notice and threaten them to approach consumer forum to claim compensation.

A.Aap consumer forum me suit file kare. Or suit file karne se pahle unko 15 days ka ek legal notice send kare. Ho sakta hai notice par hi aap ki problem solve ho jaigi.

A.Just start preparing to file a consume case against Acer if they do not do it within the stipulated time. Keep all the documents and communications handy which you will require while filing the case.

A.Since you have registered your service complaint within the warranty period you will get it replaced within the warranty terms i.e. Unpaid or Free replacement, even if you move out of warranty period with an extended warranty of the part replaced which extends to 30 to 180 days (as per the terms of warranty offered for different parts or products by different brands)

But since you're unable to use your IT - product
You can ask your brand's service executives
to extend your warranty not for only the part replaced for the period sanctioned within the terms but for the full product

* Even you can ask for the complete terms of warranty of the product to be extended for equal number of days you have been kept waiting by their end for unavailability of the stock (atleast 45 + days till today in your case)

A.Hi,
Due to ongoing pandemic and restrictions, the supply chain is constrained. You should talk to the customer care for a speedy resolution. If you aren't satisfied yet, you can lodge a consumer compliant in the consumer court.

A.Hi,
You should contact the Authorised Service Centre with more update. You can also dial up the customer care and talk with the executive to resolve your issue. Due to pandemic and ongoing sillicone chip shortage, the supply chain is constrained. You should talk to them for a speedy resolution. If you aren't satisfied, you can file a consumer complaint in the consumer court.
