You can directly approach the women wing of your nearest police station and register a complaint immediately against the perpetrator. You may also lodge a complaint with the District protection officer statutorily placed by the DV Act.

You can seek the help of the Protection Officer of your respective district who is empowered to serve all your worries as per the Domestic Violence Act. You can also approach the police station and file a case of torment u/S 498-A IPC.
