My father abuses me and tortures me in every. It's like his life's motive is to torture me and abuse me. He feels happyness in doing this. I have been fighting with this for so many years but now he is crossing all limits. What are my legal options. The best thing would be to legally adopt some property or money so that I can live separately.pls reply

A.Dear,

Restraining Orders: If you feel threatened or are facing physical abuse, you may be able to obtain a restraining order (also known as a protection order) against your father. This can help provide legal protection and keep him away from you.

A.If you are a major then you can move out of the house look for a job ans settle separately. Then file a case for partition and get your share of property. In case you are being physically tortured then you can lodge a police complain.

A.HI,
To live seperately best thing is to earn so that you are not dependent upon your father. Also regarding torture and mental harrasment you could register a FIR in the nearest police and initiate criminal proceedings against your father.
Thanks

A.Hello
You could file Legal complaint against your father for mental torture and harrasment but there are chances he'll not give you any part from his property. So it would be suggested if you live seperately they should earn.
Thanks

A.As your father is doing physical and mental torture upon you then you can take legal steps against that but then your father can deprive you from his property and if that property is your father's self acquired property( not devolved upon him in undivided manner for last four generations) then he can transfer it to any person of his choice and you cannot prevent him.
