Land dispute with government body
Bought a plot and registration DONE , mutation NOT done till date. in gram Panchayat area from a person , who bought it from a person who is the pattadar of 7 acres of agricultural land made plots without NALA conversion in 2014.we have the original&link documents sale deeds and passbook and encumbrance certificates revenue records of same land upto last 40 years.now the area merged in to a municipality.also the entire survey number 68 which consists of 619 acres is listed as prohibited property list in registration office website since 2015. reason given is that it is a wakqf land. It might be true that some part of 619 acres is wakqf board land.but prohibiting the entire area of 619 acres of survey number 68 is ridiculous. The notification file issued for prohibition by registration department doesn't mention exact area or sub survey number division in it, but whole 68 survey number as prohibited . it's been 7 years since the ban we have been waiting for it to be resolved .. waiting to build a house.
Current Officials are not interested in quick resolving of the dispute they are neglecting because nobody has exact knowledge of what happened back then.
What can I do.banks are rejecting home loan as it in prohibited list.
Local people are saying that it was a clerical mistake by revenue department back in 2004 they entered 68 survey number of a village with same names . mistook this village for that as both names are same. &. no one is coming forward to rectify.but the actual 68 survey number is clean land without any dispute in this village because we have also old records and documents. Registration of sale deeds happened until ban.
So What can I do now ! How should I proceed?

Contact a good lawyer ad file a case in high court.
You can start by registering a complaint with the revenue inspector of your region. If they show hesitation in assisting you then you may serve a legal notice to the board of wrongful usurping of the land in question. And then follow-up with a suit reclaiming your land.

You can file a suit for injunction on the wakqf board to preclude the land from the survey. You might have to the extra mile and invoke the extraordinary jurisdiction of HC under Art. 226 of the Constitution.
