Legal Heir certificate.

Any particular time period is there to take legal heir certificate for a dead person in our Indian law?... i mean, can we take a legal heir certificate after the death of a person to complete 6 or 7 years?

A.Succession certificate banvane ke liye koi time limit nhi hai. Isliye jab bhi aap ko succession certificate ki need hoti hai tabhi coury jaakar petition dayar kar sakte ho.
Usko banvane ke liye kuch formalaites hai jisko aap ko complete karna hoga.

A.Hi,
You can apply for a legal heir certificate any time you want. There is no limitation period as such. The applicant can apply for a legal heir certificate by remitting a fee of Rs. 15. The legal heir certificate will be issued within 7 working days from the date of application.

A.There is no limitation on time or any bar on time from the death of a person for obtaining the legal heir certificate. One can apply for it as and when one has a need for it and get it from the Tehsildar or the local Councilor.

A.Hi,
Under the limitation Act, there is no limiatation period prescribed for issuance of legal heir certificate or succession certificate. So, you can obtain the certificate even after 6-7 years.
