BANK - GOLD BOND

My Father purchased a gold bond from BOI Bank in 2016. He lost his bond paper. How can we recover our bond. Is there any facility in the respective bank to get another copy. What are the required documents?

A.Hi.Lodge a missing FIR with the local police and then with a copy of that FIR go to the Bank and request them to issue a duplicate bond to you so that you can redeem the bond when you need otherwise you loose all your investment. The bank may ask you to make an affidavit, if they do so then have an affidavit done for the same.

Submit an application in the bank either in person or through an email for issuing a duplicate Bond Certificate. Also file a police complaint at the earliest.

A.Hi,
If such vital documents are misplaced, you should submit a police report right away. Then, using a copy of the filed complaint, go to the bank and fill out paperwork to receive a duplicate bond copy. Take all relevant identification with you; the rest of the documentation will be provided by the bank.

A.Dear Sir,
If you have copy of it disclosing the details then you can get a duplicate bond paper otherwise you may approach Civil Court or High Court who will direct the bankers to issue duplicate gold bond.
