Doctor earning part-time with non-medical work

As a registered medical practitioner(mbbs) working in a private clinic, can I earn money by teaching yoga or conducting art workshops online classes... I need clarity on this.

A.Hi,
If you work in a private clinic, you have no restrictions on practising in other professions. However, there is no barrier if you work part-time, but if you work full-time at a government clinic, there would be an issue with being affiliated with other activities at the same time.

A.Hi,
There is no bar from practicing in other fields if you are working in a private clinic. However, if you working part-time there is no bar but if you are at a government clinic full time there would be a problem of being associated with other things at the same time.

A.I don't think there is any bar on this but you need to check two places to be sure about all . One your own organization, private clinic, for whom you are worming if they have any restriction and secondly if the Medical Council of India has any restriction on this type of engagement or not.
