I got call from a person mentioning they can provide loan of 5 lacs in which i just need to pay 15000 for loan agreement stamp paper charges. On visiting there, i signed that loan agreement and provided thumb impression too on. That non judicial stamp paper in which loan agreement things mentioned. But later i checked that loan company is fraud and do not exist and when i told them to refund my stamp paper fees they denied to refund. My question is can they make any misuse of stamppaper having my signature and thumb impression although they didn't provide any loan and company is also fake . Aastha corporation pvt finance.

A.Hi
The company is fraud, you cannot expect from them not to misuse your signatures. You must register an FIR against the company and the employees you have contact of and you know. Now a days The government, in order to encourage better compliance of the law, has introduced the form SCP (Serious Complaint Form) for reporting the serious complaints relating to the companies. This form can be filed on the website of the ministry of corporate affairs.
Thanks

A.If you are asking CAN then then on that theoretical question the answer is YES as a fraudster will not ask you before misusing your property, belonging or your signature. You need to be very careful while signing any document, especially any legal document. Also you need to understand that who on earth will give you a loan of 5 lacs by just signing a stamp paper worth of 15 thousand. No bank or Financial institute except the Credit card company is giving unsecured loans like that without checking the background and financial backup of customer. You need to be careful.
Report the incident to police.
