I applied for the petrol pumb dealership. The ioc said it would cost only 80 lakhs but the real cost would rise to 2 crores, which we cant offer. I agreed for the non refundable fixed fee to be paid as per the agreement, but i cant able to pay the amount what might be the legal implication for non payement ??

A.Dear Sir,
If such amount is not paid your dealership will be cancelled and given to some other person. Better to take some other person in partnership with you and ask him to pay atleast 50% of the said claim and thus start your business.

A.Until and unless the agreement signed by you has been thoroughly scrutinized by the Legal Practitioner,it cannot be specified about the nature and character of the default clauses specified therein as well as its legal implication. Please take note that the terms and conditioned agreed by and between the parties are the main decisive factors.

A.Hi,
A simple answer to your question would be that there would be a breach of contract from your end. If any clause in your contract provides that you will have to pay any kind of penalty. However most of the petrol pump dealers just look over to the next tender and not pursue any legal action as such against the defaulter.

A.Hi,
Just like any other contract, even here if you cannot pay the franchisee money then they will consider someone else's tender. They can ask you to pay any security money if the clause provides so.
