Dear Sir / Mam,
I was working in Reliance General Insurance from May'13 to till Apr'21. I got a better opportunity in Oct'2019 & had resigned from my organization but HR had retain me by matching my CTC not 100% but still i retain. In July'2020 During Covid Pandemic HR had included an 18 month Retention clause which was not disclosed at the time of original discussion of Retention in Oct'2019. Now i have left the organization in Apr'21 company had hold my FNF amount and also not issuing my reliving letter and asking to pay 67000 for the same. Pls help. I have both the mails of HR.

A.Dear Sir,
You may approach Labor Commissioner under Section 12 of Industrial Dispute Act. The Insurance Company cannot take any unilateral decisions which effect the future of its employees.

A.Hi,
Such insertion of retention clause, unilaterally is unreasonable and arbitrary. You can send a legal notice asking them to comply with your demands, and get your dues paid.

A.Hi,
This will completely depend on the agreement signed at the time of employment and the policies added latter on. You can try solving issue amicable through email or application. Further you can send legal notice to employer.

A.You can send a legal notice to the company through a lawyer to get your full and final payment and if you wish you can also file a civil suit after that if they don't pay your dues. In the mean time try to approach them and speak to them before going legal.
