Are there any extra charges if property tax is not paid for 2-3 years
A.Dear Sir,
Normally, there will be no extra charges if you do not pay tax for 2-3 years. But, be sure that you pay the tax every year regularly otherwise somebody else pay the tax on your behalf and may create some documents to falsely claim your property.

A.The right person to answer this question is Pune Municipal Body so better enquire from there (you can also try to check on their website) as this would be a quasi-judicial matter even if the non-payment has happened. Thank you.

A.Aap ko apne home town me advocate se contact karna hoga. Kyonki vahi aap ke state ke law ke anusar sahi guide kar sakte hai. Ab aap kon se tax ki baat kar rahe ye aap ke dawara explains nhi kiya hai. Me jahn tak samjh raha hu aap house tax ki baat kar rahe hai. Yes agar aap time limit ke antargat tax paid nhi karte hai tab aap ko us par fine dena hoga. Ab vo kitna hoga vah aap ke advocate ya department ka officer hi bata sakte hai.

A.Hi,
You can be charged a late payment penalty for paying your property tax after its due date. The late payment penalty can be as high as 5-20% of the due amount, which could be quite a lot of money if you own a large-sized property or own property in a prime urban location.

A.Hi,
Not paying property tax can have consequences for you. If someone fails to pay property tax on time, some municipal corporations initially give a show cause notice to recover the dues. If someone fails to pay it even after the notice, the authority can recover the same under municipal laws of the area.
