Because of high tension wires,we will not be given permission to build house and also the land rate is less for our plot when compared to other plots. What should I do to get connected with the highways department.Should I file a case against them?

A.Yes you should reach out to the highway department and give your representation to them. Post that seek some amount of compensation from them. If they refuse then you can reach out to the High Court against them.

A.Hi,
You can make a written complaint to Power Transmission Department, MCD, to remove the high tension wires. In case they fail to remove the wires, then you may approach the Court by filing a writ petition against MCD. In the said writ petition you may seek direction from the removal of high tension wires from the Hon'ble Court.

A.Hi,
If the HT lines have been drawn over your lands without following the procedures by the electricity department, you may file a writ before high court seeking compensation or to remove the same if it is endangering the inhabitants.
