A.Hi,
Under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 the RDO is vested with the responsibility of settling such petitions by presiding over the divisional maintenance tribunal (MT). The petitions are related to the quantum of maintenance for the senior citizens.

A.What do you mean by RDO officer please elaborate. There is no mention of any RDO officer in THE MAINTENANCE AND WELFARE OF PARENTS AND SENIOR CITIZENS ACT, 2007. If there is any regional amendment as per the state where you reside then mention that law or amendment for better interpretation.
