One person has uploaded a false youtube video making false accusations. Police is not registering complaint. What shall I do?
A.Police must take the complain and you should try to lodge the complain with the cyber cell of the local police or write to the SP of the police. If nothing works then hire a criminal lawyer and file a case under Section 156(3) in a Magistrate Court.
You can also lodge an online complain to central government at this site https://cybercrime.gov.in/Default.aspx

A.Hi,
Any person who has been refused the right to an FIR by the police officer in charge can send the substance of such information, in writing and by post, to the Superintendent of Police concerned who, if satisfied that such information discloses the commission of a cognizable offense, shall either investigate the case himself or direct an investigation to be made by any police officer subordinate to him, in the manner provided by this Code, and such officer shall have all the powers of an officer in charge of the police station in relation to that offense. If even after submitting a complaint to Senior Police officials no FIR is lodged then the informant is legally entitled to file a complaint to the Judicial Magistrate/ Metropolitan Magistrate

A.Hi,
If your complaint is not registered or not accepted by police, you can give complaint to Superintendent of police and keep a receipt of that.
