Selection of Location for RO Plant

I planned for a RO Mineral water plant around the location Ambattur, Chennai. As per GO, it seems it is restricted to use Groundwater for Commercial use in Chennai. But I just use groundwater for the manufacturing of Drinking Water that is going to serve people of the same locality mainly. Do that GO defend this too? As per norms, we need to get NOC from the governing body for setting up the plant but I don't know from where to get it? And what is the procedure for it?

You may approach the concerned department and if rejected you may approach High Court as your proposing to sell the ground water as drinking water to the public as such your proposal may be allowed.

A.Hi,
You won't get NOC for doing any illegal act. Since using groundwater for commercial use is banned by law in your region, you have to prove that you are not using for any commercial purposes and apply for NOC. If you want to challenge the government order, you can approach the court.

A.Hi,
You have to challenge the government order in the court. Government will not grant NOC for anything which is against the law. You can approach court and challenge the validity of the government order, and if the judgement is in your favor you can consider moving further.
