No prior intimation given by Muncipal Corporation regarding increase in rent No prior intimation given by Muncipal Corporation regarding increase in rent

We have received sudden notice to pay increased in rent for shops provided by municipal corporation on rental basis. No prior intimation was given and no fresh agreement held between we and Municipal corporation. As there is no consent taken by corporation , this increased rent is unjustifiable.

A.Dear Sir,
You may approach the High Court or Civil Court to get such notice stayed as it is not justifiable to claim such enhanced rent without notice. Your Advocates may help you to get favorable orders.

A.It is necessary to scrutinize the terms and conditions of the agreement by and between you and the Municipal Corporation because while lodging complaint before the concerned Department of that Municipal Corporation regarding such arbitrary enhancement of rent without giving you any hearing as well as notice to have fresh agreement,it is necessary to specify the violating terms on the part of Municipal Corporation.
