We are married in 2017 with one of the reputed government bank manager.
We have a daughter in 2018.
After she born my husband and his family torture me a lot because I gave birth to a baby girl.
My husbands family keeping my husband in their control and keep on harrassed me.
Atlast I came to my home one day. From that day he is not there in contact with me.
I tried many times but not reacted. One fine day he came to my house street and quarrel with my parents.
But my parents forgot all that and arranged couple of meetings with few well wisher but he dint responded yet.
Finally I waited for 2year for him. but he dint.
So recently I raised this in 'disha'
After calling couple of times.
He attend one time for that meeting and asking for divorce and black mailing us 'what ever case you want to keep just keep'.
Because his brother-in-law is lawyer.
So in disha also there told to keep case on him.
In this scenario, how many cases can I file on him?

A.Dear Madam,
You can file maintenance case, domestic violence case and criminal case under Section 498A of IPC and Section 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. You may contact local advocate for more information or approach Police directly.

A.Hello
As per the information provided by you, you have been not living with your spouse from last two years, therefore you can file petition for divorce in the court and custody of your daughter which you would easily get it.
Also if you want to move trough a criminal court then you could file a complaint against the in lawas and your hudabnd under section 498A for harassment.
Thanks.

A.Hello
Hello you have a right to file a criminal case under section 498A of IPC for causing harassment to you by her family members and him. Also it's almost more than 2 years since you are living seperately, therefore you could file a divorce petition in the court and get a divorce easily and could get the Custody of child as well.
Thanks.

A.You can file a case under domestic violence. which would include both IPC and DV act. also you can file for maintenance against him. you can also implicate the members of the house if they have abetted the violence against you. you can also file a case of restitution of conjugal right or case of divorce as the case may be.
