Stamp Paper Money Lending

My uncle, who is a laborer and earns 10-12k/ month, has borrowed money from 3 of his friends (with stamp paper agreement) for some work and he paid half of the amount. After corona, his labor work went off and he is not in the condition to repay the amount. Now they are filing a case against him. What is the best way to settle this situation?
A.Dear Sir,
Need not settle. Just engage advocate and it being a civil case and it goes on for 2-3 years in Trial Court then another two years in First Appellate Court like that your uncle may repay the amount leisurely.

A.Dear Sir/ Madam,
You can have a word with your lenders and try to explain them your situation. Convince them for a repayment plan where you can pay smaller amounts over an extended period of time.

If you’ve missed payments for something but you want to keep it, contact your lender and ask to make a repayment plan. If they agree, a repayment plan will mean you can pay smaller amounts over a longer period of time.
