IVF while divorce is filed

I am 42 years old. I have currently applied for divorce. Husband never had any physical relation with me nor agreed to sign on any forms for IVF. So, only option for me is to be a single mother. Due to my age, I cannot wait any more. It is my right to be able to reproduce. I am currently very depressed and not being able to have a child for no fault of mine - would break me more. Clinics need some documentation to prove that divorce has been filed as doctor also advised not to wait any more. What documentation can I use?

You cannot be seperated legally until and unless you obtain a divorce decree from the court. Til then if you want to go for IVF you would be requiring your husband. That is you cannot remove your husband name till then. Still you could ask your lawyer to provide you with case no. Which you could provide with the IVF clinic to ahow that your divorce case is still going on.

If you filed for divorce in the India, you generally can obtain a divorce decree from the court that issued the document. Alternatively, you can request an official copy from the office of vital records in the state where your divorce was finalized.
